Recommended: Cabin Fever (2002)

Chaos breaks loose among a group of college students renting a cabin in the woods when one of them falls victim to a deadly flesh-eating virus. Lines are drawn and some start doing whatever it takes to not get sick. Needless to say friendships take a bit of hit. Laughs (it's almost a comedy at times), nudity and gore ensue. Do I really need to say more?

When released in 2002, Eli Roth's directorial debut, Cabin Fever, was met with mostly positive critical response and was praised by the likes of filmmakers Peter Jackson (who gave a quote to be used in the film's advertising) and Quentin Tarantino (who in response called Eli Roth "The Future of Horror"). It has since become a cult classic among horror fans and any self respecting horror lover should not be without seeing this bloody gem at least once.
